Rev. Jay Noll
Jay has been a pastor for since 1994, having served churches in Vermont, New York, Washington and Indiana. He began his ministry at Corliss Street Baptist in January of 2016.
Jay grew up attending church and, from his youth, dreamed of serving God and working with people as his life’s vocation. This dream eventually led to his call into full-time ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity in 2002 and was ordained on May 2, 2004.
Jay has a strong, deep faith and is committed to God and His service. His purpose in life and ministry is to glorify God & to enjoy Him forever. Jay values spiritual and relational vitality, and desires that people will encounter the living Christ through him. One of his driving passions is to convey the teachings of the Bible and how they relate to humanity today in a way that brings life and healing.
A unique aspect of Jay’s ministry is juggling. He has written a presentation that effectively conveys the good news of Christ to people of all ages and in diverse settings. He also enjoys leading people into worship through singing and playing guitar.
Jay has a special interest in working with law enforcement officers and has been named the chaplain for the Bath Police Department, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Department, and the Bath Fire/EMS. Jay is credentialed as a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Jay’s hobbies include amateur radio, outdoor activities and music.
